Unfold & Unwind.. Winter Pacifying Practice!

Take a midweek pause to slow down, breathe deeply, and release what you’ve been carrying.

This gentle Yin Yoga practice is your invitation to soften — to unwind tension in the body, quiet the mind, and find stillness within. Lets beat the winter blues with heart opening poses along with grounding and calming, breathwork, and mindful meditation that can boost your energy, and circulation, helping you counteract feelings of lethargy and isolation.

Through long, supported holds and mindful breathing, we’ll melt away stress, improve flexibility, and create space for calm and clarity to return.

Gentle Yin can undo the tension our daily habits create, helping to restore freedom of movement and make us feel more at ease. Yin yoga is holding the poses a little longer and breathing much deeper …

When we sit for prolonged periods of time, rush through the same familiar tasks, and go through the same motions — and without us even knowing, those patterns settle into the body. One area that’s especially impacted is your fascia, the delicate web of tissue that supports every muscle, bone, and organ. It quietly absorbs the weight of all those little repetitions, often leading to stiffness, tension, and reduced range of motion.

Fortunately, the body (and your fascia) respond beautifully to gentle, healing movement. When you stretch, move, and hydrate these tissues, it doesn’t just ease nagging aches and pains — it supports your overall well-being. It calms the nervous system, improves circulation, increases flexibility and mobility, and even helps prevent injury. All it takes is just a few minutes a day to make a powerful impact on your well-being.

It’s the perfect midweek RESET — a time to let go, restore balance, and reconnect with yourself.

🕯️ No YOGA experience needed — just bring your mat, an open heart, and a willingness to slow down.

Will finish the practice with Yoga Nidra Savasana

Unfold. Unwind. Reset.

Yin Yoga:

  •   Focus: Passive, floor-based stretches, holding poses for long durations.
  •   Pace: Very slow, meditative, emphasizing surrender.
  •   Hold Time: Long holds (3-7 minutes or more).

• Targets: Deep connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, joints).

• Feeling: Calming, deeply relaxing, promoting emotional release.

Which to Choose?

  •   For Strength & Energy: Choose Hatha, especially for a morning practice or as a primary workout.
  •   For Deep Relaxation & Flexibility:
Choose Yin, ideal for evenings or as a nplementary practice to Hatha.

••  For a Balanced Practice: Combine them!
Hatha builds the muscle, while Yin releases the deep tension, offering a comprehensive mind-body experience.
